Free Fish Coloring Pages for Kids
16 free pages of George the guppy and his friends. Print a picture, or color it right here on screen. Each of the 10 book pictures comes with one real fish fact from marine biologist Yechiel Kuperman.

Mosquito Patrol
From the Book 2 coloring book
Fish fact: Mosquito larvae hang just under the surface and breathe air through a tiny tube at their tail end. That is exactly where a hungry guppy looks for them.

George & the Big Fish
From the Book 2 coloring book
Fish fact: Mangrove trees grow with their roots in salty water. The tangle of roots is a nursery where young fish hide from bigger hunters.

At the Aquarium
From the Book 2 coloring book
Fish fact: Angelfish are tall and flat, which lets them slip between the tall plants and roots of the South American rivers they come from.

Reef Buddies
From the Book 2 coloring book
Fish fact: Corydoras catfish can gulp a bubble of air at the surface and take the oxygen in through their gut, so one may dash up and zoom back down.

The Lily Pond
From the Book 2 coloring book
Fish fact: Lily pads float because their leaves are full of tiny air spaces, and their shade keeps the water underneath cooler for the fish.

Top of the Class
From the Book 1 coloring book
Fish fact: Guppies can learn. Scientists have trained guppies to tell colours and shapes apart to earn a food reward.

Madame Molly
From the Book 1 coloring book
Fish fact: Mollies are cousins of guppies. Like guppies, they give birth to baby fish that can swim straight away, instead of laying eggs.

Pinchy's Top Tips
From the Book 1 coloring book
Fish fact: A hermit crab's back half is soft, so it borrows an empty snail shell for armour and moves into a bigger one as it grows.

George's Underwater Friends
From the Book 1 coloring book
Fish fact: When a new empty shell turns up, some hermit crabs line up from smallest to biggest and swap shells all the way down the line.

George at the Tank
From the Book 1 coloring book
Fish fact: Guppies can see ultraviolet light, a colour that people cannot see at all. Some of the patterns on a guppy may be brighter to other guppies than to us.

Questions grown-ups ask
Are these fish coloring pages really free?
Yes. Every page here is free to print or to color on screen. There is no sign-up, no email and no ads, and nothing is collected while a child colors.
How do I print a coloring page?
Tap “Print this page” under a picture. The full-size drawing opens in a new tab. Use your browser's Print button and choose “fit to page”. It prints well on US Letter or A4 paper.
What age are these coloring pages for?
Most children from about 4 to 10 enjoy them. The bigger shapes suit younger kids, and the busier scenes, like the lily pond and the aquarium, keep older ones busy for longer.
Can my child color them online instead?
Yes. Tap “Color online” and the same picture opens in our coloring tool. Pick a color, tap an area to fill it, then print or save the finished picture.
Can I print them for my class?
Yes, for your own family or your own classroom. Please share a link to this page rather than reposting the files elsewhere. Our free lesson plans for teachers are on the Educators page.
